Since moving to Rockwall in 2020, it has been our mission to create a home for Jewish life in Rockwall County. From services to social programming, Hebrew school to Adult education, Holiday programming to lifecycle events, cultural programming and everything in between - Chabad Rockwall has steadily grown. It’s time for Chabad Rockwall to find a permanent home - and we need you to make it happen!
For the first time ever, there will be a permanent synagogue and Jewish community center in Rockwall County! YOU can be a part of history!
Nestled in the heart of Rockwall, this half acre property provides a unique and affordable opportunity for Chabad Rockwall to move into a independent space, with room to expand and grow with time.
The building contains 1300+ sq ft, including a separate sanctuary space, two classrooms for Hebrew School & children's activities, an office for meetings and counseling, a dedicated kitchen and welcoming reception area. The property includes an outdoor space large enough for a spacious hosting area, sizable playground, meditation garden, and ample parking for our long-term needs.
Our cost to close was $165,000, and we will need additional funds to renovate the property and build out parking. Thanks to a group of generous donors, we were able to secure the loan from the bank to purchase the property, with the help of a short term bridge loan. We are looking to raise $100,000 to repay the bridge loan, renovate the property, and cover other ancillary costs. This is where you come in!
We need your support to make this vision a reality! Partner with us today, and invest in the first ever permanent home and vibrant community center for Jewish life in Rockwall County!
All of the above dedications will be honored with a plaque on a gorgeous donor board, as well as a brick on the walkway. Donations can be paid in installments.
Please consider contributing any amount to our campaign - every dollar counts - and help us build a permanent home and vibrant community center for Jewish life in Rockwall County! The future is now!
